Now owner of Lightwell Visualisation Ltd, Jim began his career as an architect in 1991, registering in1998 following studies that saw him develop a passion for 3D visualisation technologies.  An SAI (Society of Architectural Illustration) council member, he’s worked in Hong Kong, Germany and the UK and had his work exhibited at the Royal Academy. In 2000, he won the Architectural Visualisation category in the 3D Magazine Big Kahuna Awards.  He started Lightwell in 2001.

Lightwell began with its focus mainly on architectural visualisation, before expanding into design visualisation and post production for TV (starting with BBC One News in 2005). Whatever the project, more than a decade of varied experience guarantees a great-quality result – and this expertise has won us some impressive clients over the years.

We’ve worked in partnership with Jago Design on a number of TV projects, including work for BBC News and BBC Arabic.  We’ve produced animation for the Cooperative Bank, and in the world of property, we’ve worked with KPF New York and Glen Howells Architects, plus the Canary Wharf Group. We’ve also completed project s for a number of high-profile branding and design agencies, including Conran & Partners.
